ABOUT lauren
I grew up in Delray Beach, Florida, where I completed the International Baccalaureate Program with a focus on Photography and the Arts at Atlantic Community High School. I later moved to Savannah, Georgia to pursue my degree in Fashion Marketing and Management.
I have interned at various creative studios such as The House of Perna and Rachel Antonoff. Within both of these companies, I assisted in content creation, illustration, lookbook development, social media management, website development, product development, merchandising, marketing, styling, and graphic design. I also have had incredible opportunities to study abroad in Hong Kong and Japan. In Fall 2018, I was chosen for an academic internship in Hong Kong with The Walt Disney Corporation creating a fashion collection, lookbook, and launch event for Mickey's 90th birthday. In Winter 2019, I was selected by my university to attend a textile trip to Japan where I was exposed to denim production, fashion studies, Japanese illustration, papermaking, and bookbinding techniques. I graduated from SCAD in June 2020 Magna Cum Laude with BFA in Fashion Marketing and Management. Currently, I am getting my MPS at Maryland Insitute College in Business of Art and Design.
I personally take a light-hearted look at serious subjects. I often integrate social issues in my art as a commentary on society. In my personal fashion brand specifically, I focus on sustainability and inclusivity, ultimately utilizing humor as a catalyst for change.
